Athena Films is an Emmy winning production studio in New York City. We make brand based TV shows and short form video that people choose to watch: developed, produced and finished in house by one standing team, and built for how audiences actually watch on TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube.
What we are good at
Formats. Most production companies are hired to execute an idea that already exists. We are usually hired earlier, to work out what the show should be, who should host it, and why anyone would come back for the second episode.
Access. Small crews, real locations, real people. New York is the easiest city in the world to film something honest in, and we spend our budgets on time on the ground rather than on scale.
Finishing. Edit, colour, sound design and mix all happen in house, which means the people who shot it cut it, and pacing survives the trip from field to master.
